The Rules of the Forums

We expect all of our Members to follow the rules of these forums, in addition to the rules for the Clan. We've set out these rules like the RuneScape Rules of Conduct, simply because they are easier to understand.

If there are any issues, whether it be a post on the forums, or a private message sent to you, then please use the Report button to report it to the Clan Leaders. Please note that reporting a particular private message will only show us that message, not the entire PM conversation.

Scamming

We will not tolerate scamming of any sort on these Forums or within the Clan itself. It's dishonest and not something that we expect in this clan. This applies to item scamming within RuneScape, trying to steal someone else's RuneScape Password as well as trying to steal someone's DFTD Forum Account Password.

Discussing/Using Third Party Programs

We're not too concerned with members discussing or using third party software, providing it meets with Jagex's guidelines. What we will not allow is members to encourage or discuss the use of third party software that could be potentially malicious/unsafe or break Jagex's Terms and Conditions.

Spam/Offensive/Abusive Posts

We expect all of our members to respect others, and treat others how they wish to be treated. With this in mind, we will not allow members to be offensive or abuse to anybody on these forums. If you have a problem with somebody, either deal with it privately, or if necessary, bring it to the Leaders attention through the Confidential Feedback Forum. With the exception of the Spam Forum, we will not allow spam on the forums as it's a waste of everybody's time, and space.

Private Messaging

You should not send anyone private messages that are spam, or in anyway offensive or inappropriate. Private messages can be reported to the staff if necessary and if anyone feels that they've received an inappropriate PM, please report it to us using the Report button.

Bypassing the Word Filter

The forum word filter is there for a reason and that is to protect and censor any inappropriate content on the Forums. If the filter is wrongly censoring words then please contact a Staff Member. Similarly, if there are words that aren't being censored which should be, we strongly recommend you contact a Staff Member.

Forum Signatures

Signatures on the Forums should not be too large and take over the content of your posts because signatures that do, clutter the forums and also slow down the time it takes to load the topic pages. We encourage all Members to use the Spoiler BBCode Tag in their Signatures as this will allow yourself and others to load the topic pages much faster. The tag to produce a Spoiler is [spoiler]content here[/spoiler]. Click Here to view a full list of the available BBCodes and examples of their use.

Your Signature must comply with the following rules:

~ The Signature Area can be a maximum height of 250 Pixels (+ 1 Spoiler Tag on top of the 250 Pixel Height)
~ Signatures should not horizontally stretch any pages and cells your Signature appears on
~ Signature Images outside of the Spoiler Tags can be no more than 450KB in size

If your Signature does not comply with these rules then you'll be contacted by an Administrator and given a week to change it. Failure to change it within the given week will result in the Administrator removing it. (If thats the case, you will receive the Signature Content in a PM so you dont loose it). Please note that if an image in your Signature exceeds the 450KB limit slightly but you've shown you have made the effort to compress it as much as possible, then it isnt a problem you continuing to use it. (Providing it isnt a silly size like 500-550KB +)

Posting website links/URLs on the Forums

While we allow you to post links to other websites on these Forums, you should not post links to any inappropriate websites or any websites that can install malicious programs onto a person's computer. All links posted on these Forums must be appropriate for all Members using these Forums.

Personal Information

You should not post any confidential or sensitive personal information about yourself. While we make every effort to keep these Forums safe, there is always a potential risk, so we ask that you do not post any informatiom about yourself that could be used in anyway to harm or track you in real life:
